History |
An 11 year old girl with sudden presentation of pain and proptosis of the right eye. Vision 20/50 right eye, 20/20 left eye. Right relative afferent pupillary defect, limited motion, right eye and tenderness to compression. |
Clinical |
Vision 20/50 right eye, 20/20 left eye. Right afferent pupillary defect, limited motion, right eye and tenderness to compression. |
Neuroimaging |
CT scan showing large infiltrating orbital tumor posterior to the right globe with marked proptosis of globe with white dot in center of lesion which is a phlenolith (Characteristic of lymphangioma). Coronal view with marked cystic dilation of right orbit (now on right side of scan) under right globe. |

The carbon dioxide Ultrapulse laser was used to vaporize the majority of the tumor following the specimen removal to more completely decompress the orbit. |
