Description History: A 35-year-old man with proptosis and inferior displacement of the left eye without functional deficit. Anatomy: Orbit; Frontal sinus. Disease Diagnosis: Mucocele. Presenting Symptom: proptosis and inferior displacement of the left eye. Neuroimaging: Superior axial CT scan through the frontal sinuses showing the left frontal sinus opacified and a defect in the posterior wall. Coronal view of the frontal sinus mucocele on the left side with loss of substance of the orbital roof in that area with resultant bulging of the mucocele into the left orbit. Treatment: Extirpation of the mucocele.
