Description History: A young man was referred with a metal chip that entered his left orbit superomedially from hammering a nail. Anatomy: Retina; Eye. Disease Diagnosis: Retinitis sclopetaria; Trauma. Etiology: Metal chip. Neuroimaging: Axial CT scan of the foreign body in the left orbit. Coronal view with bone windows of the axial foreign body nasal and inferior to the right globe. Presenting Symptom: Metal chip that entered his left orbit superomedially.
