History: A 46-year-old woman with thyroid disease who presented with proptosis of both eyes, worse on the left, with limited upgaze. Anatomy: Conjunctiva; Entire inferior rectus; Tarsal plate. Disease Diagnosis: Thyroid diseases. Etiology: Thyroid disease. Ocular Movements: Limited upgaze in left eye. Presenting Symptom: Proptosis of both eyes, worse on the left, with limited upgaze. Treatment: Transplant of superior tarsal plate to lower lid to minimize the lid retraction. |
