Description History: A 23-year-old man who presented with a history of slowly progressive proptosis of the right eye without functional deficit with a questionable history of a right brow injury in childhood. Anatomy: Zygoma. Disease Diagnosis: Cholesteatoma. Pathology: Low magnification of the gross appearance of a cholesteatoma. The microscopic appearance of the cholesteatoma with a difficult collapse of the cholesteatomatous cells. Presenting Symptom: Slowly progressive proptosis. Neuroimaging: Axial CT scan of a lesion invading the superior aspect of the anterior right zygoma with subsequent proptosis. Coronal view of the CT scan showing the erosion of the superotemporal right zygoma with a small calcium deposit in the central portion of the lesion. Etiology: Right brow injury in childhood. Treatment: Surgical removal of lesion.
