Description History: A 14-year-old boy with a bluish, painful, variable swelling in the left lower lid worsening prior to our examination. Anatomy: Orbit. Disease Diagnosis: Orbital varix. Neuroimaging: Coronal CT scan showing enhancing mass in the left lower lid. Coronal MRI scan showing a large left lower lid enhancing mass. Presenting Symptom: Bluish, painful, variable swelling in the left lower lid. Treatment: Anterior/inferior left orbitotomy with removal of varix.
