Previous history significant for hypertension, prostate cancer (s/p prostatectomy), adenomatous hyperplasia (s/p thyroidectomy) and kidney calculi.
Pathology Deposits of eosinophilic, homogeneous hyaline material in the interstitial arteries and arterioles; Fat aspirate positive for amyloid.
Disease/Diagnosis Systemic amyloidosis
Clinical VA: Normal; Elevated ESR; Elevated Creatinine
Presenting Symptom Fatigue; Weight loss; Headache; Monocular loss of vision
Neuroimaging CT
Treatment Corticosteroids
