Description A case of superior sagittal sinus, right transverse sinus and right sigmoid sinus thrombosis, presenting with increased intracranial pressure (headaches, bilateral sixth palsy and papilledema). Figure 1 : Disc photos of the right and left eyes demonstrating bilateral disc edema. Figure 2 : Non-contrast head CT demonstrated spontaneous hyperdensity in the superior sagittal sinus consistent with the "triangle sign" (fresh thrombus in the superior sagittal sinus) Figure 3 : Non-contrast head CT showed spontaneous hyperdensity in the right transverse sinus corresponding to a fresh thrombus in the right transverse sinus Figure 4 : Head CT with contrast showed a triangular area of enhancement with a central filling defect in superior sagittal sinus; representing "the empty delta sign" Figure 5 : T1-weighted sagittal image showed T1-hyperintense signal within superior sagittal sinus corresponding to an acute thrombus Figure 6 : T1-weighted axial images showed T1-hyperintense thrombus within superior sagittal sinus (left) and right sigmoid sinus (right) Figure 7 : MR venography (sagittal view) showed absent flow in the superior sagittal sinus, right transverse sinus, sigmoid sinus, and internal jugular vein Figure 8 : MR venography showed absent flow in the superior sagittal sinus, right transverse sinus, sigmoid sinus, and internal jugular vein (coronal view on the left, and axial view on the right).
