Description Presenting Symptom: Poor visual acuity OD. Pathology: Chorioretinal scar. The patient was a 26-year old female with poor vision in the right eye. Examination disclosed a quiescent chorioretinal scar in the macular region of the right eye. The other eye showed a similar scar beneath the disc. The diagnosis of congenital toxoplasmosis in this case is presumptive but the fundus appearance is similar to that in which there is documented history of maternal toxoplasmosis during pregnancy.
