Description Presenting Symptom: Cotton wool spots. Pathology: Hemorrhagic retinopathy. Clinical: The patient was a 69-year old female whose symptoms consisted of weakness, dyspnea and bleeding from nose and gums. Investigation revealed spontaneous coagulation of blood on standing and abundant plasma cells in bone marrow. The fundi showed mild venous congestion and diffuse hemorrhagic retinopathy with occasional cotton wool spots. Disease/ Diagnosis: Macroglobulinemia.
