Presenting Symptom: Lack of epithelial pigment. Clinical: Owing to the paucity of pigment in the epithelium, the choroidal vessels stand out distinctly in the blond fundus against the white sclera. The denser vascularity of the choroid in the central area (incompletely shown here) gives this portion of the fundus a homogeneous red appearance. DIsease/ Diagnosis: Pigment epithelium of eye |
