The University of Utah men's golf team finished ninth at the Gopher Invitational following the conclusion of the two-day event. The team carded 13-over par (297) Monday to put them at 19-over par (871) for the tournament. Junior Tristan Mandur continued to lead the Ute's shooting 4-over par (75) on the day. It gave him a score of 214 for the entire tournament, which tied him for 11th overall amongst the field and making him the top Ute for this tournament. True freshmen Jesper von Reedtz who carded 6-over par (77) finishing tied for 21st overall. Senior Mitchell Schow and sophomore Axel Einarsson both carded 3-over (74) on the day, placing Schow in a tie for 41st (+8, 221) and Einarsson in a tie for 44th (+9, 222). Rounding out the Utes was true freshmen Javier Barcos, who carded 3-over par (74) to place himself in a tie for 58th overall (+12, 225). |
