Description The purpose of this qualitative action research was to explore holistic mentoring methods for teachers at all stages of their careers in a school district in the Intermountain West. Gathering data, I mentored a teacher in her third year of teaching, kept a researcher's journal, interviewed multiple individuals in the school district who worked in the mentoring program, and analyzed a variety of academic literature. The findings showed that there are two types of mentoring programs within the district and revealed the ways in which they support teachers at any stage of their career. Both mentoring programs use a variety of holistic mentoring methods, some more successful than others. Participating in a mentoring relationship myself, I was able to experience holistic mentoring methods and see the effects first-hand. Through the findings, I was able to determine what holistic mentoring methods were in place in an Intermountain West school district, how teachers at all stages in their career were supported, and the effects and impacts of holistic mentoring methods on a mentee and a mentor.
