New Additions to Vernal Police Department

From left to right: Val Middleton, Terry Orton, and Larry Chevalier were the newest additions to the Vernal Police Department. Larry was 36 years old at the time and native to Texas. He worked in law enforcement in Freeport, Texas in the detective division. Terry was 24 years old when he came to Vernal from Ogden, Utah. He had served about two years in the Police Department there. Val's father was a Sheriff in Panguitch, Utah for 17 years. He himself served on the College of Southern Utah's security force. He also served with the State Liquor Law Enforcement Division in undercover assignments.
