A. Don Batty Passed Away in SLC Hospital

A. Don Batty died in the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City on November 19, 1973. Mr. Batty was born in Vernal on January 12, 1902 to Miles Marquis and Permelia Emily Bigelow Batty. He was the eighth of 13 children. He married Lela Preece on December 27, 1926 in Vernal, and it was solemnized later in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The funeral services were held November 23, 1973, at the Glines Ward Chapel. Mr. Batty was buried in the Vernal Memorial Park.
