Although sequential non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy is not uncommon, simultaneous bilateral NAION (sNAION) is rare, and poorly studied. This study aims to characterize the clinical features and risk factors of patients with sNAION, to provide better understanding of this disorder and help guide clinical decision-making. |
