Digre, MD Meagan Seay, DO American Academy of Ophthalmology and Neuro-Ophthalmology Subspecialty Day 2019 Summary T he American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Neuro-Ophthalmology Subspecialty Day took place on October 12, 2019, in San Francisco, California (Fig. and syphilitic optic neuropathy. We finished the day with Section 4, “Tests Will Give Me the Answer!” In this section, presenters discussed cancer associated retinopathy, false-positive ELISA neuromyelitis optic antibody in setting of nonorganic vision loss, Leber hereditary optic neuropathy, anomalous optic nerves, and pseudopapilledema in the setting of an empty sella.
