Final Score Alissa Atisme won the women's 200 meter dash and set a school record in the 60-meter dash while Jackie Martin, Atisme, Caitie Faust, and Brooke Martin won the women's 4x400 meter relay. ; In the women's 200-meter dash, Atisme finished in first place with a time of 24.68. She broke the school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.71 in a third-place finish. Senior Rayne Helm Wheelock also competed in both the 200 and 60 events, coming in 10th in the 200 with a new personal-best time of 26.09. She took home eighth place in the finals and ran a personal-best time of 7.87 in the preliminaries. Madison Lanford competed in the 200, finishing in 19th with a time of 26.64. Onto the women's 400-meter dash, senior Rhianna Williams took home second place with a time of 56.94 while freshman Rachel Whipple finished in seventh place with a time of 58.75. The women's 600-meter run was dominated by Utes with five of the first six finishers from Utah. Senior Grace Englund led the Utes by taking home second place while running a time of 1:32.62. Following right behind Englund was Faust and sophomore Sarah Newton. Faust finished in third place in 1:33.26. Newton captured fourth place with a time of 1:34.24. Keeping the roll going was freshman Jackie Martin and sophomore Brooke Martin. Jackie finished in fifth place with a time of 1:36.73 and Brooke finished in sixth place with a time of 1:37.05. In the 800-meter run, freshman Whitney Hessler led the Utes by taking home fourth place with a time of 2:16.16. Coming in behind Hessler was sophomores Nicole Griffiths and Melissa Taggart. Griffiths took home fourth place with a time of 2:17.61 and Taggart finished in ninth place with a time of 2:20.17. Freshman Natalie Platil captured 14th place with a time of 2:24.20. The women's mile run was another good event for the Utes where eight Utah runners finished in the top 15. Senior Louise Mercer led the Utes with a second-place finish in a time of 5:00.51. Following behind Mercer was sophomore Poppy Tank who finished in third with a time of 5:01.26 and freshman Bella Williams who captured fourth with a time of 5:03.84. Coming in eighth was Hannah McInturff (5:07.53), ninth Jessica Sams (5:10.68), 10th Trina Moreno (5:12:96), 11th Megan Perkins-Killian (5:13.14), 13th Dakota Grossman (5:16.17), 19th Aubrey Argyle (5:19.88), and 26th Ashley Licata (5:34.39). In the 3,000-meter run, junior Jade Mulvey finished in sixth place with a time of 10:32.49. Following behind Mulvey was junior Hannah Allred and freshman Astrid Lindgren. Allred finished in ninth place with a time of 10:42.63 while Lindgren finished in 10th place with a time of 10:47.42. In the women's 4x400 meter relay, the Utes had four teams compete. The Utah "A" team, which consisted of Jackie Martin, Atisme, Faust, and Brooke Martin, captured the event title with a time of 3:49.92. The "B" team (Hessler, Newton, Griffiths, and Lanford) captured third place with a time of 3:58.88. The "D" team (Perkins-Killian, Taggart, McInturff, and Platil) captured ninth place with a time of 4:05.87. The "C" team (Whipple, Mathewson, Grossman, and Bella Williams) finished in 10th place with a time of 4:12.86. In the high jump, Eliza Hansen led the Utes with an eighth-place finish and a height of 1.56 meters. Finishing tied for 10th place was junior Lauren McCluskey with a height of 1.51 meters and in 14th was sophomore Suzannah Stark with a height of 1.51 meters. Ruby Jane Mathewson also competed in this event and took home 22nd with a height of 1.41 meters. Mathewson also competed in the 60-meter hurdles and finished in sixth place with her best time of 9.40 coming in the preliminaries. "We still have a lot of work to do and a lot of improvement to make but this is really a great step in the right direction," Kepler explained. "We're just really excited for the kids and I think there all really excited for what's ahead."
