Title Product Implementation of Automated Pupillometers in the Pediatric ICU
Creator Robison, Mandy
Description The project objective is to create a more efficacious procedure surrounding pupillary examination by using Automated Pupillometers for pupil examination. Current practice is for nurses and physicians to examine the pupil manually. Studies have shown that the practice is prone to inaccuracies. The best practice for examination of the pupil is to use an automated pupillometer which has the capacity to calculate a quantitative evaluation called a Neurologic Pupil Index.
