Description Medical error that occurred during patient care has imposed a tremendous socioeconomic impact on the health care system. Short-wavelength, blue-enriched light has been shown to promote alertness and attention. The present study sought to investigate if blue-enriched light installed in the nurse working area in an intensive care unit (ICU) helps to reduce medical error.
