Description To our knowledge, there are currently no recommendations or guidelines in the literature regarding the safety and timing of cataract surgery in giant cell arteritis (GCA) patients. The purpose of our study is to determine a safe time frame and parameters for performing cataract surgery following diagnosis and treatment of GCA.
