Description Axonal and neuronal degeneration are important features of optic chiasm compression in cases of pituitary adenoma. The study was carried out to evaluate and compare the regional relationships between GCL-IPL( Ganglion cell layer-Inner Plexiform Layer) and Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer (RNFL) thickness as measured by spectral domain Ocular Coherence Tomography( SD-OCT) in pituitary adenoma cases and its correlation with visual field (VF).
