Description Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) after undergoing lumbar puncture (LP) with no prothrombotic risk has been previously reported, attributing its effect to increased venous stasis in dural sinuses along with venodilation. We described a case in which high-dose steroids along with LP may play a role in the development of CVT.
