Creator Daniel Nelson, Samuel Bidot, Greg Esper, Nancy J. Newman, Valerie Biousse
Subject Skull Base, Neuroimaging, Orbit/ocular pathology
Description Perineural invasion (PNI) of cranial nerves (CNs) by cutaneous malignancies is difficult to diagnose given the indolent course and often late or absent findings on brain imaging. We present a case with multiple cranial neuropathies secondary to PNI of squamous cell carcinoma with negative imaging for 5.25 years.
