Two Utah records were broken at the Northridge Invitational. Sophomore Audrey Kiser set a new school record and placed second in the shot put with a throw of 48 feet, 8.25 inches while junior Chantel Goldsberry's throw of 180' 4.0" in the hammer earned her second place and the school record. Katherina Gallahar placed third (172' 9.0") and Kiser placed fifth (151' 0.0") in the hammer. Senior Elisha Kekacs ran the intermediate 400-hurdles in 63.8 seconds but did not compete in the 100-meter hurdles. She later ran in the 400-meter open division with a time of 57.8. |
