Description In the early 1990's, Cecil Boren was on Diamond Mountain about 1 and a half miles from what is known as the Outlaw Pasture near the Gadson Draw. While leaving his horse trailer at the holding corral, he lifted the trailer and looking for a rock to put behind the trailer's tire, . The rock is about two inched thick and 11 x 5 inches in size. As he kicked it loose it flipped over and he could see writing on the rock. He cleaned it off and took it home. Inscribed on the bottom left were the initials "BC" and underneath "Bal 1896. It is supposed that this is a map left for some of the Wild Bunch who would help Butch Cassidy in the Montpelier Bank Robbery.
