The purpose of the study was to present a history of the rehabilitation program in Utah. It covers the national law that authorized federal-state participation in rehabilitation along with national laws modifying the program. The State Acceptance Act along with amendments is included. The study contains extracts from reports highlighting the fifty-four year history of Utah Vocational Rehabilitation (1921-1975). It is intended that both the casual observer and the serious researcher will benefit from the study. |
