Title Westside Connections
Date 2019
Description The Westside Coalition is a newly reinstated social advocacy group on the west side of Salt Lake City as of September 2018 uniting six of the community councils in collaborative efforts to address issues that take place city wide and more specifically on the west side. The councils consist of Poplar Grove, Westpointe, Jordan Meadows, Rose Park, Fairpark, and Glendale. The group recently received its 501C4 status and hopes to lobby in the Utah State Legislature this upcoming legislative session. The group was reinstated to create one voice among the councils in response to the announcement of the Inland Port. The Westside Coalition's purpose is to advocate for the health, safety, and quality of life of west side residents.
