Subject Neuroimaging
Description Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) is an important cause of permanent damage to CNS tissues. Neuroimaging evidence of acute brain injury seen on brain MRI with Hypoxia-Ischemia is also considered as a significant feature as per the recent task force on neonatal encephalopathy . A comprehensive approach of analysing the neuroimaging features can help in better understanding of the patterns of visual impairment. The objective of this study is to evaluate the relationship between ocular findings and MRI pattern of lesions in cases of HIE.
