Final Score The Utah men's golf team posted the best final round score of any team on Tuesday at the Redhawk Invitational to climb the leaderboard 10 slots on the final day and finish in sixth place in the 18-team field. Led by Tristan Mandur on Tuesday, Utah's four scorers registered a final round score of 13-under par (271), which was the best round of the day by seven strokes. The Utes finished the two-day event with a 54-hole score of 10-under par (287-284-271=842) after the stellar final round on the par-71, 6998-yard golf course. Mandur tabbed a career-low 8-under par (63) on the final day to finish tied for 15th overall, which is his third top-20 finish of the year. Mandur had a combined event score of 4-under par (209). Mandur's 8-under par ties the lowest score under par all-time, while the round of 63 is the second lowest round in school history behind former Ute, Jonathan Thomas, who notched a round of 62 in 2014. Kyler Dunkle wrapped up the tournament with another round under par, shooting 3-under (68) to close out the event. Dunkle finished tied for seventh place with a 54-hole score of 7-under par (206). The top-10 finish is Dunkle's fourth of the season and ninth in his career. The nine career top-10's ties for the second most in Utah golf history, ranking only behind Dustin Pimm's 17 career top-10 finishes. Axel Einarsson went 2-under par (69) in the final round to help the Utes' team score on Tuesday. Einarsson finished the event at 2-over par (215) and finished tied for 44th. Jordan Costello also tied for 44th after posting a combined score of 2-over par (215). Costello shot even par (71) to round out Utah's four scorers in the final round. Blake Tomlinson went 1-over (72) in the final round of action to finish with a 54-hole score of 3-over par (216). Tomlinson finished tied for 55th place. UCLA took home the team title with a 54-hole score of 37-under par. Fresno State (-25) finished in second place, Oregon State (-15) finished third, Drexel (-12) placed fourth, while UT-Arlington (-11) closed out the teams that finished ahead of the Utes.
