Description Corky Lee tells group of story behind the dedication of the plaque by the Chinese Historical Society of America at the Golden Spike Centennial in 1969. The Chinese Historical Society of America brought the plaque from San Francisco, California for the 100th anniversary and were to receive time on national television to speak about the Chinese laborers contributions to building the Transcontinental Railroad, but were denied that opportunity.
