Description |
Men from the FERA camp use a large heavy rope to haul carts up a hill at the Dinosaur National Monument to use in removing rocks and overburden from the hill and quarry area. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. The camp can be seen at the bottom of the hill. |
