Description The purpose of this quality improvement project is to alleviate the workload of nurse managers by developing the skillset and responsibility of charge nurses, assistant nurse managers, nurse educators, and other lead shift workers. Nursing managers will continue to see increased responsibilities added to their day-to-day work. This project seeks to address this demand by both growing and empowering an up-and-coming group of nurse leaders. By identifying gaps in current frontline leadership competency and ensuring focused training interventions, all levels of nurse leaders are better equipped for success.
