Description We hypothesize that information technology solutions can be used to improve the efficiency of critical radiology results communication. Implementation of an electronic critical test result management tool can improve the radiologic workflow, decrease stressors in the workplace, and improve wellness. Conclusion: There is an opportunity to enhance wellness in the radiology department by improving critical results reporting at the University of Utah. The Epic critical results management tool provides a way to increase efficiency in the radiology workflow and, potentially, other departments who manage critical results.
