Description Personal fitness is highly prized by many in the University of Utah Health community, yet finding the time and opportunity for fitness activities is often a barrier to personal fitness. The U of U Health 2016 annual wellness survey demonstrated a burnout rate of 25% in the Department of Pediatrics. More specifically, when asked what issues are essential to address for optimal wellness and life satisfaction, a summative score of 3.47/5 was reported for questions related to fitness (e.g., usefulness of on-site exercise facilities and increased walkability/bike-ability of workplace).
