Description Keeping track of health one drawing at a time. Introduction: Color Me Healthy is an app created to speed up the time and accuracy of patient and caretaker interaction. The primary focus is on children (ages 5 - 14), who must undergo long stays in the hospital. Players will be drawn to the app to customize characters and their rooms, write in a personal journal, and draw in a digital sketch pad. Caretakers will find this app useful for its detailed symptom tracking and patients personal input from carefully crafted questions. The private nature of this app creates a safe place where children can freely express their feelings and symptoms with zero pressure. Game Mechanics: Color Me Healthy hosts a variety of interactive pages. In the main page, players will be able to customize room decorations, as well as place unlocked decorations around at their will. An "About Me" page includes a customizable character that will follow the player through a few pages. A diary is included so the voice of the player can either be shared through text, or withheld as a private memoir for the player. The digital sketch pad allows players to create works of art, or can be used as an avenue to express emotion. The main focus in Color Me Healthy comes in the symptom page. Players will be able to answer general questions about their health, as well as be able to go to specific body parts and enter in specific problems. Within these specific body parts, players can draw on a representation of that part and explain the feeling through a more artistic medium. All of this information is saved and can easily be found throughout the app for future use.
