Description Improving first medical contact to balloon STEMI protocols takes a multi-disciplinary approach that extends beyond the hospital. It is important to have high quality data to drive subsequent quality improvement initiatives. Using such data assists in pinpointing areas that need to change in order to better serve our patients. We found that by engaging with our emergency medical service agencies we were able to improve our STEMI protocols and our relations in our community.
