Description Over 1/3 of patients admitted to MICU/CCU are transferred to the U of U from an outside hospital; heavy reliance on outside records, imaging and documentation at time of arrival; waiting for study results, repeating tests and procedures or making several phone calls is less than ideal; often hard to track down OSH physicians or pending studies at time of transfer.
