Utah saw two of its school records fall. Freshman Whitney Wellington set the mark in the 60m (7.77) while Chelsea Shapard broke the record in the 400m (55.77). Other performances of note from the Pacific Northwest went to Ashley Patterson who finished first in her section of the 400m (56.92) and the 4x400 team that won its section in 3:49.61. Second-place showings in Seattle went to Haley McAllister (26.08 in the 200m), Jen Cutrer (25.94 in the 200m and 8.72 in the 60m hurdles), Chelsea Shapard (in the 400), and Amanda Feigt (8.76 in the 60m hurdles). McAllister and Feigt also took fifth in the long jump, leaping 17-2 ¼ and 19-3/4, respectively. |
