Description The Pete Suazo Business Center (PSBC) is a non-profit organization that strives to develop minority entrepreneurs into successful businesspersons. This effort is only possible with the help of countless volunteer hours. The selfless service of diverse mentors and teachers help further the education of this underserved population. However, the PSBC often faces shortages of mentors and volunteers that can help them achieve their mission. Usually, college students tend to be the best fit to volunteer. Therefore, PSBC needs help establishing long lasting relationships with collegiate organizations that can send volunteers to this great organization. Presentations on campus to the Hispanic Business Student Association will help PSBC recruit new and qualified mentors that will continue to spread the word. This project also hopes to help the PSBC obtain more volunteers while also helping them create more mentor resources. By evaluating the current needs of mentors and mentees, it was observed that both parties needed help understanding their tasks and responsibilities. By outlining them in an easy to read brochure and presentation, it will increase understanding and success rates. These resources are the essence of the project and have been instrumental to its success. This project started with a more complex elements but has evolved to a more simple but yet impactful way of creating other necessary resources that still make a difference in mentoring sessions.
