The Utes finished third overall with 83 points, led by sophomore Jenny McCune's ninth-place finish. BYU was the leader of the team standings at the meet with 23 overall points. McCune finished the five-kilometer race with a time of 17:36.4, improving on her time at the same meet from last year by 20 seconds. Behind McCune was fellow sophomore Nikki Dotter, who finished 19th with a time of 17:49.7. Rounding out the top five finishers for the Utes were three freshmen.
