Subject Optic Neuropathy
Description Corticosteroid (CS) unresponsive optic neuritis is a clinical challenge. Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) has been used in multiple autoimmune diseases since 1980 due to its anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating effects. In this retrospective study, we demonstrated our experience with IVIG in the management of 15 cases of CS unresponsive optic neuritis.
