Description Pituitary caricinomas are rare entities that account for approximately 0.1% of all pituitary tumors (1). Usually presenting in the third to fifth decade of life, pituitary carcinomas, may initially begin as benign tumors that later become aggressive and unresponsive to conventional therapy (1). We present a case of pituitary carcinoma in a female with previously treated hyperprolactinoma.
