Description Acute post-operative vision loss is a rare but devastating surgical complication. We describe a unique case where disruption of orbital venous drainage during craniotomy resulted in venous congestion and a large serous retinal detachment (RD), presumed secondary to obstruction of the choroidal vortex veins.
