Creator Rahul Sharma, Wayne Cornblath, Lindsey DeLott
Subject Diagnostic Tests (ERG, VER, OCT, HRT, mfERG, etc) Eyelid & adnexal disease, Pseudotumor Cerebri
Description The clinical assessment of papilledema is highly subjective and often variable, even with formal grading systems like the Modified Frisén Scale. We describe three cases of Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) where optical coherence tomography (OCT) revealed subclinical swelling of the optic nerves not readily apparent on funduscopic examination.
