Title Book review: "Digital humanities in the library: Challenges and opportunities for subject specialists"
Date 2013
Description Digital Humanities in the Library was written "to help subject librarians understand the possibilities of digital humanities and to help them navigate relationships among faculty, students, and digital humanities librarians, and themselves" (xi). There have previously been several books published on the topic of digital humanities, but none were written for librarians working with faculty members on their research using digital humanities tools and methods. To achieve the goal of helping subject specialist librarians become more familiar with the digital humanities, the editors have compiled fourteen essays contributed by librarians and subject specialists at different institutions who have had a wide range of experience in working with digital humanities projects on their campuses.
