Part of the field notes by Earl Douglass for the year 1908, 126 pages of field notes from the Uinta Basin of Utah in May and June of 1908, including description of the journey west by train to Grand Junction and over Baxter Pass, and finding Turtle and Artiodactyl fossils in June. There are several photographs attached and a list of photos, as well as lists of specimens collected. Locations mentioned include Kennedys Hole, Dragon, Bonanza, Skull Butte, Vernal, the Green River, and others. |
