Frank S. "Red" Couture was elected as President of the Utah State Moose Association on June 6, 1957. Frank was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota on January 31, 1914. His parents were Clarence Edward and Francis Zimmerman Couture. He came to Vernal, Utah in 1935. He married Georgia Milburn on August 28, 1973 in Duchesne.He had two daughters, Pam and Jodie. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was active in many civic organizations. He owned Basin Auto Supply until his retirement in 1976. He passed away on August 8, 2000 and is buried in the Vernal Memorial Park. |
