Dr Swenson was born in Ogden , Utah in 1933. Dr Swenson received his A.S. degree from Weber State College. Dr Swenson received both his B.S. and M.D. (1959) degrees from the University of Utah. Dr Swenson completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Utah Medical Center and his residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation at New York University Medical Center. Dr Swenson was the founding Chairman of the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (1965). Dr Swenson was a past president of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr Swenson was Emeritus Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr Swenson died in 2014. |
