Water for Utah: A Review of Duties and Funding Programs of the Division and Board of Water Resources January 2004

This report provides an overview of the functions of all the forums, commissions, councils, governor's representatives, working groups, etc. associated with water in Utah. Laws governing water use and development are reviewed as are studies, inventories, conservation education, and programs. The history of water development in Utah is reviewed, including charts of funding for water projects, water appropiations, construction projects, hazardous dams, snow pack, precipitation, stream forecasts, resevoir storage, hydrographs of the lakes,drought monitor, sales tax for water and river districts.
